Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided by the government to them to start their business on behalf of the government. On behalf of the Government of Bihar, an incentive amount of Rs 10 lakh will be provided by the government to set up industry in the state. This scheme will reduce unemployment rates. Under this scheme, out of the incentive amount of Rs 10 lakh, Rs 5 lakh will be given as a grant.
Under Bihar Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana 2023-24, Rs 5 lakh will be given as an interest-free loan. Under this scheme, the selected youth will be sent for training for 2 weeks in the training institutes listed by the Industries Department.

- Benefits under Bihar Udyami Yojana 2023 will be given only to the permanent residents of Bihar state.
- Under this, benefits will be given to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe/unemployed youth/women.
- To avail benefits under this scheme, the educational qualification of the applicant should be Intermediate, ITI, Polytechnic or passed.
- To avail benefits under this scheme, one should be Minimum 18 years and Maximum 50 years.
- In case of proprietorship, individual current account in the name of the applicant (or current account in the name of the firm) will be valid.
- But after the approval of loan and grant of the applicant, the sanctioned amount will be transferred through RTGS to the current account in the name of the firm only after the applicant converts his personal current account into the name of the firm and uploads it on the portal.
- Proprietorship can be done by the firm entrepreneur on his personal PAN.
- Current account should be in the name of the proposed firm.
- To avail benefits under this scheme, the applicant will have to form his own firm or company and get it registered.
- There are many options under this: – It will have to be done in the form of Proprietorship Firm, Partnership Firm or Private Limited Company.
